I will give you the speed answer in one line and then spend the rest of the page on the bit that changes what you should do. Payouts are quick. Leave your bankroll elsewhere.
How fast does PricedUp pay?
Withdrawals are processed quickly and often land within hours. No fees are charged on the way out.
For a book this size that is good. Several much larger brands still quote one to three working days. Some add a pending window on top, during which the withdrawal can be cancelled and the money pulled back.
Two honest caveats. After PricedUp releases the money your bank sets its own pace, so an evening payout can land the next morning. And we have not timed a PricedUp withdrawal with a stopwatch, so treat “within hours” as the pattern rather than a measured figure.
Where that sits against the field. BetGoodwin is the quickest we have timed, at about 11 minutes to a Visa debit card. Matchbook pays inside 12 hours on every method. Star Sports, the book at the same Hove address, took two to five days when we checked. PricedUp is much nearer the top of that list than the bottom.
What does “not protected” mean for your money?
This is the part I would want to know before depositing, and most reviews bury it.
Every UK operator holding customer money has to tell you which of three ratings applies to it, and get you to acknowledge it. PricedUp’s rating is “not protected”, which is the lowest of the three.
| Commission rating | What happens if the company fails |
|---|---|
| Not protected | Your balance is not ring-fenced. You rank as an ordinary creditor. |
| Medium protection | Arrangements exist to return customer funds, with some conditions. |
| High protection | Funds held in trust, independent of the company. |
PricedUp’s own terms say customer money is kept separate from company funds across bank accounts, investment accounts and payment-processor reserves. They then say those funds “are not protected in the event of insolvency”.
Read this properly, because it is not a scare story. The rating is legal and disclosed exactly as the Commission requires. A great many smaller operators sit in the same tier.
It is not a prediction that anything will go wrong, and Off Course Bookmakers has been on the companies register since 1986. What it changes is one habit: keep your working balance on account, not your bankroll. Withdraw winnings rather than letting them build up. Given how fast PricedUp pays, that costs you nothing.
Does the 40-year-old company change the picture?
A bit, and it is worth saying because the brand reads as brand new.
PricedUp launched in 2024. The licensee, Off Course Bookmakers Limited, was incorporated on 10 February 1986, and it holds one of the older account numbers on the Commission’s register at 001776. Four of its directors also sit on the board of Star Racing Limited, which runs Star Sports from the same building in Hove.
So this is not a start-up with a payment processor and a logo. It is a long-standing independent running a new front end. That does not upgrade the funds rating, and I would still keep my bankroll elsewhere. It does mean the trading history behind the account is far longer than the brand suggests.
What can delay a PricedUp payout?
Three things, and you can clear two of them on day one.
Verification is not finished
Every UK licensee must verify you before paying out. It is a licence condition, not an operator preference. Upload photo ID and proof of address when you register, not when you want paying, and the first withdrawal goes through clean.
A source-of-funds check
Bigger or unusual deposit patterns can trigger an affordability or source-of-funds request. The Commission has penalised operators for failing to run these, so expect them to be applied.
Free bet tokens still in play
PricedUp’s welcome offer is Bet £40 Get £20, paid as four £5 accumulator tokens that arrive one a day and expire 24 hours after each lands. Until the qualifying bet settles, part of your balance can be tied up. The tokens themselves are worth about £13.33 in real terms, and our PricedUp review shows the working.
PricedUp withdrawal FAQs
How long do PricedUp withdrawals take?
PricedUp processes withdrawals quickly and they often land within hours. No withdrawal fees are charged. After PricedUp releases the funds, your bank or card issuer adds its own processing time.
Does PricedUp charge withdrawal fees?
No. Withdrawals are free, which is one of the stronger parts of the account.
Is my money safe at PricedUp?
PricedUp holds customer funds in the Gambling Commission’s “not protected” tier, the lowest of three ratings. The money is kept separate from company funds, but it is not ring-fenced in an insolvency, so you would rank as an ordinary creditor. The rating is legal and disclosed. The practical step is to keep only your working balance on account.
What is the PricedUp minimum deposit?
Check the current figure on PricedUp’s own banking page before you fund the account. We do not quote a minimum here because we have not confirmed the current one, and these change without notice.
Why is my PricedUp withdrawal pending?
Usually incomplete identity verification, a source-of-funds check, or free-bet funds tied to an unsettled qualifying bet. Uploading photo ID and proof of address normally clears the most common cause.
Who holds my money at PricedUp?
Off Course Bookmakers Limited, company number 01987776, registered at 255 Old Shoreham Road, Hove, BN3 7ED. It holds UK Gambling Commission account 001776 and has no regulatory action recorded against it on the public register.
