Twenty clubs, 38 matches each, August to May. The Premier League has run to that shape since 1995, and it decides how every market on this page behaves. The table above updates as results land. So does every price beside it.
Read the table the way a bettor reads it
Position tells you who is winning. The columns beside it tell you what to back. Goal difference separates a side grinding out 1-0 wins from one drawing 3-3 every week, and those two clubs deserve different treatment in a goals market even when they sit level on points.
Split the record by venue before you price anything. A club taking 2.1 points a game at home and 0.8 on the road is two different teams wearing one badge, and the aggregate hides it. Every club page on this site carries that split, calculated separately for home and away, because the combined figure misleads you in exactly the situations where money is at stake.
Form matters over about six matches. Beyond that you are reading last season. Inside three you are reading noise, which is why nothing on this site quotes a percentage built on fewer than six games.
Four races, four sets of prices
The title usually settles between two or three clubs by March, and the market knows it long before the mathematics do. Prices on the outright shorten faster than the points gap justifies, which is what makes the each-way and top-four markets more interesting once a leader pulls clear.
Champions League qualification runs to the top four, with a fifth place available in seasons when English clubs perform well enough in Europe to earn an extra coefficient slot. That fifth place moves a lot of money, and it appears late. Watch the European results in spring rather than the domestic table.
Relegation is the market where the table lies most. Three clubs go down to the Championship, and the gap between 17th and 18th is frequently a single result. Sides cut adrift by Christmas often price shorter than they should because the market prices reputation. Sides in 15th with a punishing run of fixtures price longer than they should for the same reason. We break the promotion and relegation picture down in the Premier League outright betting guide.
Run the season yourself
Reading a table gets you so far. Predicting one exposes what you believe. Our Premier League table predictor lets you call every remaining fixture and watch the table rebuild as you go, with real results locking in each week so your projection stays honest. Most people discover their title pick needs about four more wins than they had allowed for.
If you follow the divisions below, the Championship predictor handles the promotion race, and the full set sits on the league simulators hub.
Where the prices tend to drift
Promoted clubs get mispriced in both directions during autumn. The market carries their Championship form forward for a month, then overcorrects after a bad run of results against the top six. By November you have a fairer price than you did in either August or October.
Home advantage in the Premier League sits lower than most bettors assume and lower than it does in the League One and League Two, where travel and pitch quality bite harder. If you carry a lower-division instinct into a Premier League home market, you will overpay.
Goals markets move with fixture congestion. Midweek European rounds thin out squads and change how the following weekend plays, and the effect shows up in the over/under line before it shows up in the result. Every fixture on this page carries the recent scoring pattern for both clubs, so you can see whether a line has drifted for a reason or out of habit.
What this page gives you
The full league table with form and venue splits. Every fixture, with prices, head to head history, and the trends that carry a sample worth quoting. Each club links through to its own page, which carries the same treatment across the whole season.
All of it refreshes on its own. Nobody types a scoreline into this site by hand, which means the table you are looking at reflects the last match that finished rather than the last time somebody remembered to update a page.
Common questions
How many clubs get relegated from the Premier League?
Three. They drop into the Championship and swap with the two automatically promoted clubs plus the play-off winner.
How many teams qualify for the Champions League?
Four in a standard season. England has received a fifth place in seasons where its clubs earned a high enough UEFA coefficient, so check the current allocation before backing a top-four or top-five market.
When does the Premier League season run?
Mid-August to late May, across 38 matchdays. The fixture list on this site shows confirmed dates and kick-off times, including changes made for television.
What do the form letters mean?
W, D and L across the last six matches, oldest on the left. We use six because shorter runs tell you nothing you can price and longer ones drag in a squad that has since changed.
Can I bet on the Premier League with a free bet?
Yes. Current welcome offers from UK licensed bookmakers sit on our free bets and offers page, with the qualifying conditions for each one written out in full. Read the minimum odds requirement before you place a qualifying bet, since most offers void a bet placed below their threshold.
