Does betTOM have Best Odds Guaranteed?

betTOM Best Odds Guaranteed: Racing And Greyhounds

Yes. On UK and Irish horse racing and greyhounds.

Take an early price, and if the starting price is bigger, betTOM pays the bigger one. Greyhounds included, which plenty of bigger books leave out.

I rate Best Odds Guaranteed above almost every welcome offer going, and I’ll show you the sum rather than ask you to take my word for it. First, what it is.

What is Best Odds Guaranteed?

Best Odds Guaranteed is a racing promotion. You take a price in the morning. If the horse goes off at a bigger price, the bookmaker pays you at the bigger one.

Say you back a horse at 4.0 and it drifts. By the off it is 6.0. Without BOG you are paid at 4.0 because that is the price you took. With BOG you are paid at 6.0.

You never lose by taking the early price. That is the whole mechanic.

What does BOG pay on a real bet?

Numbers, on a £20 win single.

Price taken 4.0, SP 6.0Price taken 4.0, SP 3.0
Your stake£20£20
Paid at6.04.0
Return if it wins£120£80
Profit£100£60
BOG added£40£0

Note the right-hand column. When the horse shortens, BOG pays nothing, and you keep the better price you already took. It can only help you.

Why I weigh this over a sign-up bonus. A welcome offer pays once. BOG pays on every qualifying racing bet you place, for as long as you hold the account. If you back four horses a week at early prices, it is working on roughly 200 bets a year. A one-off £25 free bet is not in the same conversation.

Why does a bookmaker offer BOG at all?

It costs them money, so there is a reason, and I spent long enough on the other side of the counter to know what it is.

Early money is useful to a bookmaker. It tells them where the market is going before the market gets there, and it lets them shape their book over hours instead of minutes. BOG is what they pay to get it.

There is a second reason for a young brand. BOG is a feature punters search for by name, and betTOM is doing that here. You cannot buy that kind of attention cheaply.

Which UK bookmakers still offer BOG?

Fewer than you would expect, and the list moves. Here is where the books we review sit.

Watch for stale pages on this. Star Sports dropped BOG on 1 December 2025 and I still see affiliate pages crediting them with it. If a comparison page has not been touched since, treat the rest of its table with the same suspicion. Ours is dated at the bottom for that reason.

How do I get the most out of betTOM’s BOG?

Three things, and the first is the one people miss.

  1. Take a price. Do not take SP. BOG compares your taken price against the starting price. Bet at SP and there is nothing to compare, so the promotion pays you nothing.
  2. Back horses that might drift. BOG rewards prices that get bigger. Short-priced favourites backed into 2.0 rarely drift, so the promotion does less for you there.
  3. Read the promotion rules once. Most BOG offers carry a cap per bet or per day, and some exclude ante-post markets. We have not read betTOM’s line by line, so check yours before you plan around it.

Point three is me being straight with you rather than coy. I would rather say we have not checked something than guess at a number you might stake against.

Is betTOM worth an account for BOG alone?

If you bet racing at early prices, it earns its place. The payouts are same day with no fees, and the book covers around 38 sports if you want more than racing.

Two things would stop me making it my only account. There is no PayPal and no e-wallet support at all, so if that is how you move money, this will annoy you weekly. And the promotions calendar beyond BOG is still thin, which is fair for a brand this young but worth knowing.

My honest read: open it alongside a main account, use it for racing, and take the early price every time.

betTOM Best Odds Guaranteed FAQs

Does betTOM offer Best Odds Guaranteed?

Yes. betTOM offers Best Odds Guaranteed on UK and Irish horse racing and on greyhound racing. If you take an early price and the starting price is bigger, betTOM pays you at the starting price instead.

Does betTOM’s BOG cover greyhounds?

Yes, which is worth noting because several larger bookmakers run BOG on horse racing only. Greyhound punters have a much shorter list of books to choose from.

What is BOG worth on a £20 bet?

It depends on the drift. Back a horse at 4.0 on a £20 stake and it goes off at 6.0, and BOG adds £40 to your return. If the horse shortens to 3.0 instead, BOG pays nothing and you keep the 4.0 you took.

Do I need to opt in to betTOM’s BOG?

Check the promotion rules on the betTOM site before your first racing bet. Some bookmakers apply BOG automatically and others require an opt-in, and we have not confirmed which applies here.

Is BOG better than a welcome offer?

For a regular racing punter, yes. A welcome offer pays once. BOG pays on every qualifying bet for as long as you hold the account. Across a season of early prices that adds up to far more than a single £25 free bet.

Which other UK bookmakers have BOG?

BetGoodwin and QuinnBet both run it on UK and Irish racing. Star Sports removed Best Odds Guaranteed on 1 December 2025, so any page still listing them is out of date. PricedUp and Betway do not offer it.

Responsible Gambling

A better price on a losing bet is still a losing bet. BOG is a reason to take an early price on a bet you were placing anyway, not a reason to place more of them.
