Jackpot City Review: The Short Answer
What you need to know
- Jackpot City is legit. It is run by Betway Limited on UK Gambling Commission account 39372, with a casino licence active since 1 November 2014.
- Through our link, the welcome offer is a 100% match up to £200 on a first debit card deposit of £20 or more. Deposit within 7 days of registering. No promo code is needed, only an opt-in tick.
- Wagering is 10x the bonus, so the full £200 needs £2,000 of slot stakes. At 96% RTP that costs about £80 on average.
- Each bet is split between your cash and bonus balances. If only the bonus half counts, the turnover doubles to £4,000 and the cost to about £160.
- Withdrawals are processed in up to 24 hours, from a £5 minimum. There is no phone line, only live chat.
- Betway Limited has two Commission penalties on record: £11.6m in 2020 and £408,915 in 2022.
We tested Jackpot City ourselves, and checked every figure against its terms, its help centre, the full offer terms behind our link and the Gambling Commission register, all read on 30 October 2026.
Jackpot City is a new partner, and Got The Odds earns a fee when you sign up through our links. That fee doesn’t move a single score. Our review methodology explains how we rate every casino, partner or not.
Is Jackpot City Any Good?
Jackpot City is a safe, licensed casino and a good pick if you want Mega Moolah and a large first-deposit bonus. Betway Limited runs it under UK Gambling Commission account 39372. Through our link, new players get a 100% match up to £200 on a first debit card deposit of £20 or more, with 10x wagering.
The bonus is the strongest part. A £200 deposit gives you £400 to play with, and the offer terms put no cap on what you can win. The awkward part is the way Jackpot City splits each bet between your cash and your bonus, because the terms leave one question about it unanswered.
Jackpot City says it opened in 1998. I couldn’t find an independent source for that date, but the licence history is clear enough. Betway Limited has held its UK casino licence since November 2014, and Jackpot City shares it with Betway, Spin Casino and Hippodrome Online. The parent company, Super Group, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Many search results for Jackpot City are written for players in Canada, New Zealand or South Africa. This review covers the UK site at jackpotcitycasino.co.uk, and nothing here applies anywhere else.
Is Jackpot City Legit and Safe?
Yes, Jackpot City is legit and licensed in Great Britain. The licence holder is Betway Limited, account 39372, a Maltese company whose remote casino licence has been active since 1 November 2014. The register lists “jackpot city” as an active trading name, with jackpotcity.co.uk and jackpotcitycasino.co.uk both active domains.

Your balance is well protected. Jackpot City’s terms say customer money sits in a segregated bank account, protected at the “high protection” level if Betway becomes insolvent. That is the top rating in the Commission’s scheme, and the one I want to see before I leave money in any account.
If support can’t fix a problem, email your complaint to ukmanager@jackpotcitycasino.co.uk within six months. The terms promise a decision within one month, though they allow an extension. After eight weeks you can take the dispute to eCOGRA, the free adjudicator Jackpot City names for all disputes. Our guide to casino complaints and ADR explains each step.
Regulatory record: two penalties on account 39372
- 12 Mar 2020 £11.6m penalty package. The Commission found social responsibility and money laundering failings linked to seven high-spending customers. One VIP deposited over £8 million and lost over £4 million in four years.
- 21 Sep 2022 £408,915 penalty. Betway’s logo appeared on the children’s pages of West Ham United’s website, including a colour-in teddy bear page. The Commission said there was no suggestion Betway targeted children on purpose.

Both cases were brought against the licensee, so they cover Jackpot City even though its name never made the headlines. The register’s sanctions tab still reads “No regulatory actions have been recorded for this business”. I ignore it. Both penalties are on the Commission’s news pages. We found no Commission action against Betway Limited published after September 2022 (checked 30 October 2026).
The safer gambling tools are set at licence level, which helps. Deposit limits, breaks of 24 hours to six weeks and self-exclusion of six months to five years all apply across every Betway Limited brand. A lower limit starts at once, while a higher one waits 24 hours and needs you to confirm it again. For a block on every UK site, use the national scheme in our GAMSTOP self-exclusion guide.
Jackpot City Welcome Bonus: Is There a Promo Code?
No promo code is needed. The Jackpot City welcome bonus through our link is a 100% match up to £200 on your first deposit, made by debit card within seven days of registering. You opt in by ticking the welcome bonus box on the registration form. Deposit £20 and you get £20, or deposit £200 and you get the full £200.
Jackpot City’s own homepage and app may show a different welcome offer, so check the terms on the page you sign up through. Everything on this page refers to the £200 offer on the landing page behind our link, which I read on 30 October 2026.
What Does the Jackpot City Bonus Cost to Clear?
The full £200 bonus needs £2,000 of slot stakes to clear, which is 10 times the bonus. At 96% RTP the house keeps about £80 of that on average, so the bonus is worth roughly £120. A £20 bonus needs £200 of play and costs about £8.
Jackpot City · 100% up to £200
What the bonus is worth
10x the bonus, slots count in full. Move the sliders to your deposit and the RTP of the slots you play.
Deposit £200 and you get £200. Wagering is 10x the bonus, so £2,000 of turnover. At 96% RTP the house keeps 4% of that on average: £2,000 x (1 – 0.96) = £80. That leaves the bonus worth about £120. If only the bonus half of each bet counts, turnover is £4,000, the cost is about £160 and the bonus is worth about £40. Long-run averages, not a forecast for one session.
Why the Cash and Bonus Split Matters
Jackpot City splits every bet between your cash and bonus balances in proportion to their size, a system it calls “Freedom Bonus”. With £200 in each, a £1 spin takes 50p from your cash and 50p from your bonus. Any win goes back to the two balances in the same ratio.
The offer terms say the bonus is “subject to 10 times playthrough”. They don’t say whether the cash half of a split bet counts. If the whole stake counts towards the 10x, a £200 bonus takes £2,000 of stakes. If only the bonus half counts, you need about £4,000, the average cost doubles to around £160, and the bonus is worth closer to £40.
The receipt · Jackpot City welcome bonus terms

Read on the Jackpot City landing page for our link, 30 October 2026. Open the source →
Until Jackpot City says which reading it uses, I’d plan on the £4,000 figure. The ratio also shifts as your balances rise and fall, so both numbers are approximate. The split has one upside. You can ask support to return what’s left of your deposit before wagering is done, giving up the bonus and all winnings to do it.
RTP, or return to player, is the share of stakes a slot pays back over millions of spins. It tells you nothing about one evening. My 96% is a working assumption, so check the paytable of the slot you pick. A 97% game cuts the average cost of £2,000 of play from £80 to £60, and our guide to RTP in casino games shows where to find it.
Slots are the only sensible way to clear this bonus. Most roulette, blackjack and table poker count 8%, so £2,000 of wagering becomes £25,000 of stakes at the wheel. Even at single-zero roulette’s 97.3% RTP, that costs about £675 on average, more than three times the bonus. Classic Blackjack, baccarat, craps, sic bo and crash games such as Aviator count nothing.
Watch your stake size too. Jackpot City treats any single bet worth 30% or more of the bonus as irregular play, and can then withhold withdrawals or confiscate winnings. On a £200 bonus that line sits at £60 a bet, and on a £20 bonus it’s £6. Our max bet rule guide covers how casinos police it.
The terms, clause by clause
- Fair10x on the bonus only. The legal maximum since January 2026, and your deposit isn’t added to the sum.
- FairNo maximum win on this offer. The £50 withdrawal cap in the wallet terms covers no-deposit bonuses, and this one needs a deposit.
- WatchCash and bonus are staked together. The terms don’t say if the cash half counts towards wagering, so plan for £4,000 of stakes.
- WatchBets of 30% of the bonus count as irregular. That’s £60 on a £200 bonus, and the penalty can be your winnings.
- WatchDebit card deposits only. PayPal and e-wallet deposits won’t qualify, and the terms exclude a list of card number ranges.
- UnfairBonus abuse is whatever Jackpot City decides. The terms leave the definition to its “sole discretion” and let it remove winnings from linked accounts.
Two oddities in the small print will catch your eye if you read it yourself. The general “Online Wallet” terms set a 50x default, but this offer states 10x, and the offer’s own figure is the one that applies. The irregular-play clause also says “Hippodrome Online Casino” may confiscate your winnings. I read that as Jackpot City’s own clause with a sister brand’s name pasted in.

If you’d deposit £200 at a slots site anyway, this match is worth having. If you wouldn’t, don’t stretch for it, because a £50 deposit still earns a £50 bonus on the same terms. Our wagering requirements guide works through the maths. The UK casino bonus rules explain the 10x cap every licensed site now works under.
Is There a Jackpot City No Deposit Bonus?
No. Jackpot City had no no-deposit offer on its UK site when I checked on 30 October 2026, and every current promotion needs a deposit or a stake first. The nearest thing to a freebie is the weekly Casino Rewards scheme.
Ongoing Promotions
Casino Rewards is the regular perk. Wager £50 or more between Monday and Thursday and Jackpot City credits up to 100 free spins, or 15 “Mega Spins” worth £1 each, on the Friday. The spins expire after 48 hours, and anything you win is paid as cash.
On top of that sit provider prize pools from Pragmatic Play and Playtech, each billed at £5,000,000, plus a rolling set of tournaments. Jackpot City also runs “Must Win Jackpots”, which its banking page says have to drop by 11pm every day.
Jackpot City Games: Is It Good for Jackpots?
Yes, if Games Global’s progressives are what you’re after. On 30 October 2026 the jackpots page carried 32 slots with live progressive tickers, all from Games Global: 22 Mega Moolah titles and 10 WowPot titles. Among them are Mega Moolah itself, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah, Book of Atem WowPot and Wolf Blaze WowPot Megaways.
A progressive jackpot is a prize that grows with every stake across a network of casinos until somebody lands it. The top prize is a long shot by design, so I treat the ticker as a lottery ticket stapled to an ordinary slot. Jackpot City’s terms pay progressive wins straight into your cash balance, so they don’t sit in the bonus balance waiting on wagering.
Slots and Game Count
Jackpot City’s homepage claims “over 400 online slots”, while its footer and App Store listing say “over 450 premium casino games”. The site’s own game data lists more titles than either figure, but that is a catalogue record rather than a lobby I’ve counted, so I won’t quote it. Games Global supplies the largest share by a distance, followed by Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and Playtech.
Slingo, video poker and a handful of crash games fill out the RNG side. Crash games count nothing towards the bonus, so treat them as cash-only.
Live Casino
Evolution runs the live section. Games in the site’s data include Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Lightning Roulette, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Lightning Blackjack and Dream Catcher, plus live baccarat and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Live roulette and most live blackjack count 8% towards the bonus, and baccarat counts nothing, so keep live play for your cash. Our live dealer casino guide covers how these games work.
New customers only. Opt-in required. 100% Match Bonus up to £200 on 1st deposit of £20+. 10x bonus wagering applies as do weighting requirements . Debit Card deposits only. This offer is valid for 7 days from your new account being registered. +18 GambleAware.org. Bet the Responsible Way.
How Long Does Jackpot City Take to Withdraw?
Jackpot City processes withdrawals in up to 24 hours, according to its terms, though weekends can take longer. Debit card payouts sent through Visa Direct can then reach a UK bank account in under 12 hours. Other routes are slower, as the help centre’s own timetable shows.

The timetable is from a help article dated 1 April 2025. Once you request a withdrawal you can’t cancel it, because Jackpot City no longer allows reversals. I count that in its favour, since a reverse button mostly helps a casino win the money back. Our casino withdrawal times guide compares payout speeds across UK sites.

The minimum withdrawal is £5 by debit card or PayPal. Cash out less than that and Jackpot City deducts a £1 processing fee, and otherwise its terms list no withdrawal fee. Money goes back to the method you deposited with wherever possible. Changing your withdrawal details means a conversation with customer service.
The banking page still mentions “any major credit card”. You can’t use one. The T&Cs ban credit cards, as UK rules do, and that includes e-wallets topped up by credit card. For the bonus you need a debit card anyway, and our page on debit card casinos compares the options.
PayPal works both ways, but the account must be in your name and country and use the same email address as your Jackpot City account. It won’t trigger the welcome bonus, and our list of PayPal casinos is the place to start if that matters to you.
There is also a fee if you drift away. After 12 months without a login, Jackpot City charges £5 a month while your account holds money, then closes it as dormant at 18 months. Withdraw what’s left before you stop playing.
Does Jackpot City Have an App?
Yes, Jackpot City has official apps on iPhone and Android, both published by Digital Outsource International for Betway. They’re poorly rated. On 30 October 2026 the iOS app scored 2.75 from 20 ratings and the Google Play app 2.8 from 27, small samples, but both under three stars.
Check the developer before you install anything. Google Play also lists a lookalike called “Jackpot City: Online Casino” from an unrelated developer, and it has nothing to do with Betway. The official Android listing shows “© Betway Group” and the developer Digital Outsource International Limited. If in doubt, log in through your phone’s browser instead.
How to Contact Jackpot City
Jackpot City offers live chat as its only contact route, reached through My Account and then Help. The site footer says support runs “24/7, all year round”, though the help centre states no hours. I found no phone number anywhere on the site.
Jackpot City publishes two email addresses, and neither is for general help. Complaints go to ukmanager@jackpotcitycasino.co.uk and data requests to dataprotectionofficer@jackpotcitycasino.co.uk. Everyday questions go to chat. Oddly, the safer gambling page says one type of request “must be by telephone” without giving a number to ring.
Who Jackpot City Is For
- You want Mega Moolah and WowPot progressives in one lobby
- You play slots and would deposit £100 to £200 anyway
- You want your balance held at the “high protection” level
- You’d like one set of limits across all of Betway’s brands
- You mainly play roulette, blackjack or baccarat. They count 8% or nothing
- You want to phone someone when something goes wrong
- You pay by PayPal and want the welcome bonus
- You like big single bets. Anything over 30% of the bonus counts as irregular
- An operator’s penalty record is a dealbreaker
What Are Jackpot City’s Sister Sites?
Jackpot City’s sister sites are Betway, Spin Casino and Hippodrome Online, the other active brands on Betway Limited’s account 39372. Hippodrome Online runs as a white label on the same licence. Dream Bingo was once part of the group and is now listed as inactive.
The shared licence has two practical effects. The two penalties above apply to every brand on the account. So do your limits, because a deposit limit, break or self-exclusion set at Jackpot City covers the other three as well. Our guide to Betway’s sister sites sets out the whole group.
Further out, Clover Casino and Pirate Slots belong to the same Super Group family through Jumpman Gaming, which holds a separate licence. Jackpot City’s limits cover Betway Limited brands only, so they won’t reach those sites. Our Clover Casino review covers that side of the family.

Jackpot City
3.8 / 5
Jackpot City is a sound choice for slot players. It sits on a casino licence active since 2014 and keeps your money at the Commission’s “high protection” level. Its jackpots page lists 32 Games Global progressives, 22 of them Mega Moolah titles. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, and a Visa Direct card payout can reach your bank in under 12 hours after that.
The £200 bonus is good value with one open question. At 10x with no win cap, the full bonus costs about £80 to clear at 96% RTP, or about £160 if the cash half of each bet doesn’t count. I’d take it if I were depositing £200 for slots anyway, and I’d keep every bet under £60 while it runs.
The weak spots are service and history. There’s no phone line, both apps rate below three stars, and Betway Limited has paid two Commission penalties, £11.6m in 2020 and £408,915 in 2022. None of that changes the bonus maths, which is where Jackpot City is strongest.
